My Grown-up & Me (mini sessions)
*Ages 6 months - 3 years (by September 15th, 2025)
*Includes an introduction to movement and music with full participation of the adult which supports bonding, language, and movement development
*Mini sessions offered throughout the year
*Shoes: barefoot/socks
*No recital
*Location offered: Cedar Falls
Intro to Dance (core class)
*Must be 2 by September 15th, 2025
*Includes basic locomotor movements and pre-ballet along with balance, coordination, guided creative movement and socialization into structured classes
*Meets once a week for 30 minutes
*Shoes: pink leather ballet shoes
*No recital
*Location offered: Cedar Falls & Denver
Preschool Core (core class)
*Must be 3 by September 15th, 2025
*Includes beginning tap, beginning ballet, guided creative movement, and beginning tumbling
*Meets once a week for 45 minutes
*Shoes: pink leather ballet shoes and black slip on or Mary Jane style tap shoes (no laces)
*Recital (2 routines/costumes - 1 for tap & 1 for ballet)
*Location offered: Cedar Falls & Denver
Kinderdance Core (core class)
*Must be 5 by September 15th, 2025 (may or may not be entering Kindergarten fall 2025)
*Includes tap, ballet, guided creative movement, and tumbling
*Meets once a week for 45 minutes
*Shoes: pink leather ballet shoes and black slip on or Mary Jane style tap shoes (no laces)
*Recital (2 routines/costumes - 1 for tap & 1 for ballet)
*Location offered: Cedar Falls & Denver
Lower Elementary Core (core class)
*Ages 6-8 (Approx. Grades 1 & 2)
*Includes ballet, tap, and beginning jazz
*Meets once a week for 1 hour
*Shoes: pink leather ballet, black slip on tap shoes, and tan slip on jazz shoes
*Recital (2 costumes, 3 routines - one combo costume)
*Location offered: Cedar Falls & Denver
Mid Elementary Core (core class)
*Ages 8-11 (Approx. Grades 3, 4 & 5)
*Beginning/Intermediate Level - Includes beginning/intermediate ballet, lyrical, jazz, and tap (no assessment required)
*Advanced Level - Includes continuing ballet, lyrical, jazz, and tap (successful completion of assessment)
*Meets once a week for 1 hour 15 minutes
*Shoes: tan slip on lyrical/jazz shoes and black tap shoes
*Recital (3 routines/costumes - 1 for lyrical, 1 for tap, 1 for jazz)
*Location offered: Cedar Falls & Denver
Middle School Core (core class)
*Ages 11-15 (Grades 6, 7 & 8)
*Beginning/Intermediate Level - Includes beginning/intermediate ballet, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, and tap (no assessment required)
*Advanced Level - Includes continuing ballet, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, and tap (successful completion of assessment)
*Meets once a week for 1 hour 15 minutes

High School - Ballet and Jazz (core class)
*Ages 14-18 (Grades 9 -12)
*Intermediate Level - Includes continuing ballet, lyrical/contemporary, and jazz (no assessment required)
*Advanced Level - Includes advanced ballet, lyrical/contemporary, and jazz (successful completion of assessment)
*Meets once a week for 1 hour
*Shoes: tan slip on lyrical/jazz shoes
*Recital (2 routines/costumes - 1 for contemporary & 1 for jazz)
*Location offered: Cedar Falls
High School - Tap and Modern (core class)
*Ages 14-18 (Grades 9 -12)
*Intermediate Level - Includes continuing tap and beginning modern (no assessment required)
*Advanced Level - Includes advanced tap and beginning/continuing modern (successful completion of assessment)
*Meets once a week for 1 hour
*Shoes: black split sole tap shoes (barefoot for Modern)
*Recital (2 routines/costumes - 1 for tap & 1 for modern)

Hip Hop (supplementary class)
*All age groups offered - Preschool-High School
*Includes age appropriate Hip Hop curriculum
*Meets once a week for 30 minutes
*Shoes: white, Icon Blaze sneakers (sold at The Boutique at ADC)
* Recital (1 routine/costume)
*Location offered: Cedar Falls & Denver
Acro for Dancers (supplementary class)
*All age groups offered - Preschool-High School
*Includes beginning-intermediate acro/tumbling for dancers
*Meets once a week for 30 minutes
*Shoes: barefoot
*Recital (1 costume)

Pom (supplementary class)
*Middle School & High School (younger ages offered in mini sessions)
*Includes beginning-intermediate Pom technique
*Meets once a week for 30 minutes
*Shoes: tan jazz shoes
*Recital (1 costume)

Pointe (technique class)
*Ages 12-18 - must be 12 by September 15, 2025
*Director approval needed to ensure dancer’s safety
*Includes beginning pointe curriculum
*Meets once a week for 45 minutes
*Shoes: pointe shoes

Leaps & Turns (technique class)
*Lower/Mid - Ages 6-11; MS/HS - Grades 6-12
*Includes turning and leaping technique, exercises, and practice
*Meets once a week for 30 minutes
*Shoes: tan lyrical/jazz shoes
*No recital

Flexibility (technique class)
*Lower/Mid - Ages 6-11; MS/HS - Grades 6-12
*Includes flexibility technique, exercises, practice
*Meets once a week for 30 minutes

Ballet Technique (technique class)
*Lower/Mid - Ages 6-11; MS/HS - Grades 6-12
*Includes ballet barre, center work, and across the floor work focusing on technique
*Meets once a week for 30 minute
*Shoes: ballet shoes (preferred) or tan lyrical shoes
*No recital

Acro Skills (technique class)
*All age groups offered - Preschool-High School
*Includes acro skill drills and progressions to increase technique and flexibility
*Meets once a week for 30 minutes
*Shoes: bare feet
*No recital

Creative Movement (supplementary class)
*Ages 3-6 (by September 15th, 2025)
*Includes structured creative movement games and activities
* Meets once a week for 30 minutes
*Shoes: ballet shoes/tan lyrical shoes preferred - socks acceptable

Solo/Duo/Trio (supplementary class)
*Ages 6-18
*Includes skill work and choreography to prepare the dancer for a 1.5-minute routine to be performed at recital
*Meets twice a month for 30 minutes
*Shoes: will align with the genre picked by the dancer
*Schedule TBA - will be agreed upon by both ADC staff and the families involved
*Recital (1 costume)
