  2. COVID-19

Dear ADC Families,

We have made changes to our Covid-19 related policies and procedures and wanted to keep you informed. These policies and procedures will be in place until there is another change in the status of the pandemic.

  • We ask that any students or staff that have been directly exposed to Covid-19 not attend any physical classes.
  • Any student or staff that is showing any Covid-like symptoms should stay home.
  • The waiting rooms are open to parents. Parents should come into the waiting room (or drop off if thestudent is older) to bring their child to class. Special accommodations will be made (within reason) for anyone with Covid-related concerns (for example – drop off and pick up so family members do not need to enter our facilities). Any special accommodations need to be scheduled through our Director or Assistant Director and approved ahead of time.
  • Dance is naturally distanced most of the time. Our teachers will begin running classes as normal (not requiring 6 feet of distance at all times between everyone), but continue to space students out when possible/appropriate. If you would like your child to be distanced at all times, just let us know and we can easily accommodate this without drawing attention to the child.
  • Masks are optional within our facilities.
  • Sanitizing wipes, spray, and hand sanitizers will be readily available throughout our facilities.
  • We will resume our normal daily sanitizing routines.
  • Multiple viewing options are available to parents to help reduce the number of people in our waitingrooms and accommodate those that are not comfortable being in close proximity to others. Live viewing will be available both within our waiting rooms and also remotely via Spot TV.

We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to act in the best interest of the majority of our students. We will keep you posted as changes are made.

We want you to know that we are dedicated to serving our students the best we can, which we believe is with in-person classes. We are committed to doing everything in our power to consistently offer in-person classes in a safe manner. Our mission is unwavering – to do our very best to provide a safe, kind, calm, positive environment for our students to learn valuable life lessons through dance. During this challenging time, our students’ physical, emotional, and mental health is of top priority and we understand we play an essential role in this.
